OPF since its inception has provided more than 10,000 residential plots to overseas Pakistanis all over the country and has now planned to offer constructed houses in four housing schemes in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore.

The expression of interest (EOI) for development of the housing schemes on Joint Venture basis was invited from local and international developers through press. Twenty-two developers/firms submitted their credentials, out of which six developers/firms were pre-qualified.

The financial and technical proposals from six pre-qualified firms were invited.
The last date of submission of financial and technical proposals is 10th April, 2007.The proposals will be opened on the same day

Source to Dispose off the sewage


The sewage will be disposed off in the natural rain water drain passing through the scheme after primary treatment in the Sewage Treatment Plant.

Two categories ( 600 Sq Yds and 355 Sq Yds) have been proposed.

Design of Houses
Four (4) design will be adopted.

Accommodation of Houses
4 beds (Ground +1) for 355 Sq Yds and 6 beds for 600 SqYds


Commercial Areas


Will be developed/constructed by the developers simultaneously with the development of the scheme and construction of houses.

Development works to be undertaken

Site preparation and earth works, road and retaining structures, bridges and culverts, water distribution and storage system, sewerage networks, storm water drainage system, dams and lakes, horticulture and land scaping, water supply works, sewage treatment plant, External underground electrification and grid station, Sui gas works ,optic fibre telephone lines.

Civic Amenities included in Master Plan

Schools, Colleges, Health Centers, Mosques, Petrol/ CNG station, Play Grounds, Green areas, Lake/entertainment areas, post office, parking areas, graveyards, telephone exchange, club/community center, public toilets, waiting sheds and site office.

Construction work to be undertaken

Besides buildings for certain Civic amenities, houses and commercial areas will also be constructed.

30 Months

STATUS OF OPF VALLEY ZONE-V, ISLAMABAD


We keep on receiving queries on the progress in development of OPF Valley Zone-V, Islamabad. Since the development of scheme has been delayed for quite some time, we have felt it necessary to apprise you of the progress of the same.

Acquisition and purchase of 5000 Kanals of land has been completed.

Some portions (about 500 Kanals) were under litigations and were the major cause of delay.

It has been decided to start development of the housing scheme without waiting for the resolution of the land under litigation. While the development works goes on towards its completion the matter under litigation will, hopefully, get resolved. Even with exclusion of this area we have ample land for plots allotted to you are absolutely intact.

We have the consultant (M/S NESPAK) in place. The selection of the contractors etc. is under process and will be completed soon.

We can hope earnestly that by the grace of God development works will be in full swing in the going year and in a couple of years the scheme would be complete.
