Pune realtors, including Gera Developers, have launched projects in this zone with capital values ranging from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 4,200 psf. Supply may touch 10.72 million sq. ft. by 2009-10.

In the North Eastern Zone bungalows are the order of the day because of proximity to the airport. Owing to low land prices in Lohegaon compared to other parts of the area, demand for bungalows have gone up with plot rates ranging from Rs. 600 to Rs. 900 psf.
Though farming still dominates the Eastern and South-Eastern Zones, the developers have been able to acquire a few large land parcels for building townships.
