Islamabad older sectors especially the F-6 and G-6 sectors are characterised by large plots of land older structures. The houses are spacious and open, often single storied, with large gardens and balconies.
There is also ample spacing between two adjacent houses. In fact a team of British architects designed the earliest government houses made in these sectors. For many years these remained the typical structure for Islamabad.
They had a charm of their own and were comfortable without being architecturally 'exciting'.
