CDA recommends cancellation of two societies

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Planning Directorate has recommended the cancellation of preliminary scrutiny certificates of the two housing societies Jammu and Kashmir Housing Scheme and Tele Town Private Limited situated in Zone V of the federal capital, The Post learnt Sunday.

Sources in the CDA revealed that M/s Jammu & Kashmir Cooperative Housing Society and M/s Tele Town Private Limited have not submitted the required documents to the Authority, therefore the concerned directorate has recommended cancellation of the preliminary scrutiny certificate to the higher authorities of the civic body.

The sources said that for submission of the required documents, the CDA provided them a proper time but both the builders had not submitted the documents within the stipulated time.

The Authority has fixed four stages for the approval of the housing scheme.

First of all, the builder has to approve the layout plan of the housing scheme and then approval of the engineering design. Third stage is the issuance of NOC by the CDA and finally, the builder has to submit the completion certificate of the development work of roads and other services to the civic body. There are total 15 private housing schemes in Zone II & Sector E-11 out of which only a few have got NOCs by the CDA. The names and status of these housing schemes according to the CDA is as follows: Margalla View M/s Twin City Housing Private Limited has got NOC from the authority and it has 1118 plots in sector D-17. The total land of this housing scheme is 2,018 kanals.

Khayaban-i-Kashmir M/s Jammu and Kashmir Coop Housing Society has received the NoC from the Authority and it has 2,516 plots in Sectors G & F-15.The total land of this society is 3,480 kanals. The Housing Scheme of the Cabinet Division Employees Cooperative Housing Society has got NoC from the CDA and it has 2,749 plots in sectors E-16 and E-17. The total land of this society is 4,400 kanals.

New Islamabad Garden M/s Capital Builders Private Limited has received NoC from the Authority and it has 800 kanals of land in Sector C-17. RP Corporation Housing Scheme M/s RP Corporation Private Limited has approved layout plan from the Authority and the builder has submitted documents for the issuance of the NoC. It has 931 plots in Sector E-16 and the total land of the society is 1,616 kanals. Tele Garden Housing Scheme M/s Multi-Professional Housing Society and T&T Employees Cooperative Housing Society have approved the layout plan from the Authority and the builder has fulfilled all requirements of the Authority. NOC case is under process and it has 2,386 plots in Sector F-16.

The total land of this housing society is 2,751 kanals. Housing Scheme of the Ministry of Interior has approved the layout plan from the Authority. The sponsor of this housing society has not submitted the required documents to the CDA for issuance of the NoC. It has 992 plots in Sector G-16 and the total land of this society is 1,630.24 kanals.

Housing Scheme by M/s Engineers Housing has been permitted to advertise the scheme by the Authority and the sponsor has to procure the balance land documents to the civic body. It has 1,600 kanals of land in sector D-16.

Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society has been issued the preliminary scrutiny certificate and the sponsor has submitted the required documents. The case for approval of the layout plan is under process. It has 7,300 kanals of land in Sector B-17.

Gulshan-i-Rehman M/s Accurate Builders has been permitted to advertise the scheme by the Authority but the sale of plots has not been granted to the builder. The sponsor has been asked to submit the complete land ownership documents to the Authority. The society is working in sectors C-17 and D –17.

Green City M/s Paswal Enterprises has received the preliminary scrutiny certificate and permission of advertising the housing scheme but the Authority withdrew the certificate on 6-6-2005 due to inaction by sponsors.

This society has 1,736 kanals of land in Sector E-17.
